Painting is an exercise  in  the simplification of the infinitely complex. Rendering a work with the largest possible color variety, using the fewest brush strokes necessary to depict the essence of an individual or idea. 

Inspired by personal experience and the beautiful relatability of individualism.  A social milestone or an  impression of an everyday routine, translated to  an idealized image.

I predominantly paint in oils, often alla prima.  I love painting portraits and the human figure, at the end of the day If I'm creating works that invoke feeling and inspiration, then I'm honored to do it.
